The ambiance is wonderful. I love the music here, very chill vibe. The manager, Woody, was very attentive in explaining everything to me. I was impressed by my dish, Ali's Special. It was baba ganoush, (I am probably spelling it incorrectly), a feta salad, a bed of rice with tomato and onions with delicious steak prepared the way I like it. Pita bread and a salsa was on the side. I also ordered the house fries which were delicious The bf got a chicken dish which he cleared out. Everything was so good. I know why he comes here weekly.

The restaurant is excellent and Adam accommodated to our party of 8, shout out to him for the GREAT service and hospitality. Very cozy place and our family was warm with the heat lamps on a brisky night. The party platter and veggie plate were excellent. We also had the lamb which was recommended by our server who btw was very attentive in everything (can't remember her name). The chicken shawarma, filet mignon and tiger shrimp were excellent recommendations. I would definitely go back without hesitation. The ambiance was also very cool . If in LA it is a must try

What a gem! Came here with a friend for dinner and I was so mad for not trying it sooner! The portions are huge and everything was seasoned to perfection. I loved that they have various combo plates to choose from so you can get a little bit of everything. Also do not sleep on their desserts!

We randomly spotted this restaurant on the way home and walked in, we were seated right away. I find the venue to be cute and cozy, yet intimate. Every dish had a generous serving, I think we over ordered for two people, but it was satisfying. Chicken Tawook: The chicken was tender, juicy, and marinated to perfection. It had the perfect blend of spices that gave it a rich flavor without being overpowering. Spicy Hummus with Chicken Shawarma: This dish was a standout! The hummus was creamy and had just the right level of heat, and the generous portion of chicken shawarma on top made it hearty and satisfying. Yogurt Cucumber Dip: Light and refreshing, the dip provided a cooling contrast to the spicier dishes. It was perfect for pairing with warm pita bread or as a side to the Tawook. Lebanese Salad: Crisp and fresh, the salad was well-balanced with a light lemony dressing that brought out the flavors of the fresh vegetables. Baba Ganoush: Smoky and smooth, the baba ganoush was an excellent appetizer. It had a deep, roasted eggplant flavor that was complemented by a hint of garlic and tahini. I would highly recommend Open Sesame to anyone looking for an authentic and satisfying Lebanese dining experience!

For years, I worked in Long Beach. For years, I would frequent the Long Beach location. Lots of memories and unforgettable meals. Now it's time to start over, this time closer to home (and work). I've never had a problem finding parking on Beverly. Yes, you deal with meters, however, enforcement isn't 24/7. Read the signs though. I believe it ends at 8PM. And feeding the meter is cheaper than a ticket. It's life in LA. Just deal with it. My friend and I walked in without reservations. On a Friday night too. However, we got there early enough that we got to sit at the bar, then had the choice of sitting inside or out and any open table. Had we gotten there later, it's likely we would have had to wait or go elsewhere. It got busy and I didn't see an empty table or seat at the bar when we finished up. Service was great. Not remembering his name but he was our guy in addition to tending the bar. I know he was busy but somehow he would just appear right we we needed or wanted something. Also makes means drinks. As for the food, see pics. We were mainly there for drinks and appetizers and I wish the lighting was better because the pics don't do the dishes any justice. We filled up on too much Pita with the starter Mezza Sampler and ended up just sharing The Sultan and a Baklawa Crumble. Just know, there were no leftovers. Sorry, no pics of the Sultan - we dived right in and I forgot. Anyway, I'm glad I finally made it here and know it won't be my last.

It transports you to a different world! You forget you are off Beverly and Fairfax! Reasonably priced and good portions. The drinks were so good and creative! Easy to find street parking, good service, outdoor, street seating and indoor seating. This has become one of our favorite Mediterranean places.

Unique drinks. Delicious food. Portions are BIG so you've been warned. We got a bunch of appetizers and the combo to share and everything was really tasty. Our server was also very attentive and patient in explaining the menu since it was our first time. We had a great time! My favorites were the halloumi (the pairing with watermelon worked so well), the cauliflower and the combo (chicken, beef). Will return again!
